Since 2000 the Cunningham Law Firm has obtained compensation on behalf of our clients either through settlement or jury verdicts totaling $360,000,000.  The majority of these cases were settled after formal mediations with the terms of the settlements to remain confidential. Burn Cases

  • Chemical Burn at Hair Salon -

    15-year-old girl suffered a severe chemical burn injury while getting her hair highlighted at a hair salon.  Case settled after formal mediation.  Terms of the settlement are confidential.

  • Stove Tip Over at Apartment Complex -

    15-month-old boy was burned after hot liquid spilled onto him when a stove within his apartment tipped over.  Case settled with the terms of the settlement are confidential.

  • Motor Vehicle Fire -

    40-year-old man sustained burn injuries after his vehicle was struck from behind and burst into flames. Case settled with the terms of the settlement are confidential.

  • Scald Injury at Amusement Park -

    3-year-old girl was burned after scalding hot chocolate was spilled onto her while she was seated within a stroller.  Case settled with the terms of the settlement are confidential.

  • House Propane Explosion -

    44-year-old man suffered severe burn injuries when his house exploded due to a propane gas leak.  Case settled after formal mediation.  Terms of the settlement are confidential.

  • Natural Gas Explosion -

    Two minor children, ages 5 and 2, and their mother were severely burned when their mobile home exploded due to a natural gas leak.  Case settled after formal mediation.  Terms of settlement re confidential.

  • Natural Gas Explosion -

    Twin brothers, ages 3, severely burned when their apartment exploded due to a natural gas leak.  Case settled after formal mediation.  Terms of the settlement are confidential.

  • Defective Infant Swing -

    15-week-old infant suffered chemical burns after a dry cell battery leaked onto her head from an unsealed overhead battery compartment while seated within an infant cradle swing.  Case settled after formal mediation.  Terms of the settlement are confidential.

  • Defective Water Dispenser -

    15-month-old girl was burned by scalding hot water due to the failure of a child-proof lever.  Case settled with the terms of the settlement are confidential.

  • Gas Tank Explosion -

    48-year-old man was burned when his gas tank exploded when parts from another vehicle’s transmission fell onto the highway and ruptured his gas tank. Case settled with the terms of the settlement confidential.
