School Bus

13-year-old girl was struck and severely injured while attempting to cross a street to board a school bus.  Case settled after formal mediation.  Terms of the settlement confidential.

Wrongfully Killed

16-year-old girl was struck and wrongfully killed while crossing the street in a designated crosswalk.  Case settled after formal mediation.  Terms of the settlement confidential.

Vehicle Crossed the Center Line

58-year-old husband and 54-year-old wife stopped their vehicle to obtain an item from the trunk when a vehicle crossed the center line and collided with their vehicle.  Husband was wrongfully killed and wife suffered personal injuries.  Case settled for the policy limits of $700,000.00.

Negligence of School District

Negligence of School District regarding placement of a school bus stop.  Personal injuries to a minor who was struck by a motor vehicle.  After trial jury verdict awarded $600,000 to minor and $300,000 to parents for loss of consortium.
